President Obama fills out his NCAA bracket with ESPN's Andy Katz during their interview in the Map Room of the White House on March 17. (Official White House photo by Pete Souza)

President Obama's NCAA Tournament bracket? Kinda sad. The First Fan turns out to be not so great at predicting winners: Three of his Final Four picks -- Louisville, Memphis and Pitt -- have been eliminated. His last chance at redemption: Obama still has North Carolina as the national hoops champs. The Tar Heels beat the Sooners last night, earning a trip to the Final Four in Detroit.

He's doing better than I am. I had 12 of 16 teams in the Sweet Sixteen and all 8 of my picks for the next round survived. Then the walls came tumbling down...

My Final Four faded quickly:
Down went Memphis! (My pick for national champion)
Down went Kansas! (OK-sentimental pick, I also didn't think much of Michigan State, had them losing in Round 2)
I had Pitt in the National Championship against Memphis. Ofer.
NC thumped Gonzaga. (In truth, I had NC losing in the big upset to Butler. Oops.)

So, it's Big East vs. ACC vs. BIg 10. Meh.
