Henry Hager and Jenna Bush Hager (Mia Baxter/White House)

Jenna Bush Hager's Secret Service protection? Turns out it was her dad who extended it for his girls.

Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan called us yesterday to say he was mistaken: It was George W. Bush (not President Obama) who signed a presidential directive (not an executive order) shortly before leaving office. Bush's directive, extending security protection for his twin daughters for an undisclosed period of time, is very similar to one signed by Bill Clinton for daughter Chelsea at the end of his term.

And those parking tickets on Secret Service cars in front of Jenna's Baltimore house? "All the tickets are paid," said a relieved Donovan.
