Bono at the Blue Duck Tavern last night, sitting in the middle of the restaurant with a small group of friends; Monday he was spotted chatting on the steps of the Willard Hotel with a business-suited group. The U2 and One Campaign frontman was in town talking up overseas anti-poverty programs with top White House officials and members of Congress.

Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson sliding into the unoccupied seat reserved for Adrian Fenty to sit next to BFF Michelle Rhee at the U.S. Conference of Mayors' National Forum on Education at the Capital Hilton yesterday. Whispered a couple of times to the D.C. schools chief during Arne Duncan's speech, but no hand-holding this time.
