Levi Johnston Blabs to Tyra, Disappoints Us All.

Levi and Bristol, in happier times. (Paul Sancya/AP)

He seemed like such a nice stoic Alaskan type. In the seven months since he emerged from small-town obscurity to become the most famous teenage dad in America, Levi Johnston never had a K-Fed moment. He cleaned up good for the Republican convention, and kept his public statements to a discreet minimum. Even after he and Bristol Palin broke up and news cameras ambushed him near his home, his comments were brief, dignified, appropriate. (He blamed his own immaturity for the split, said he'd like to get back together.)

But now - Levi is talking. But no, not to Barbara Walters or Mike Wallace... to Tyra Banks. The supermodel-turned-talk show host announced this morning that she scored an exclusive sit-down with Sarah Palin's would-have-been son-in-law. In which he blabs about how the Alaska governor probably knew her daughter was less than abstinent. And then he and Tyra giggle about safe sex. (See video here.)The interview will air Monday, at whatever mid-day or late-night time the syndicated show broadcasts in your area. (In the Washington area, noon on Fox 5.)

Do I remember correctly that Sarah Palin said the important thing about the pregnancy situation was that the parents were getting married? That would have been best for the child??? I assume he got paid for the Banks interview (a semi-employed high school dropout has to do something), but the blog item doesn't mention that.

If you gals are surprised by this truly trite & irrelevant revelation, you really are clueless. I'm merely clueless about what a "K-Fed moment" is.

(Ok, I can hear you giggling!)

You are a couple of hypocrites. First you write oh-so-approvingly of his previous discretion and tsk-tsk him for airing his dirty laundry. You're gossip columnists, right? Getting into people's dirty laundry is what you are all about. Without this material, what career would you have? I mean, other than something that might actually benefit society.

Nice going Levi. Sold out to Tyra. I get it. There never was a repugnican who didn't turn a trick for a buck. They all do it. LOL. I hope Sarah self incinerates.

Say what you will about Sarah Palin's qualifications for the vice presidency, but she's generated more juicy entertainment than any politician in recent memory.

Blagojevich has a lot of catching up to do!

He might have been on Tyra for a Noble Cause, like paying his Mom's attorney.
