"Kind of sucked, to tell you the truth, [but] I don't have that kind of time."

-- Bristol Palin on missing the prom, in a new People cover story. Other revelations: The new mom and teen-pregnancy-prevention advocate graduated from Wasilla High with a 3.49 GPA; she and Levi Johnston have lawyers working out custody and support issues; she worked part-time at a cafe while relatives babysat Tripp; she's starting community college this summer; and the Palin clan plays a game involving dice and wrapped gifts called "Eskimo bingo."

I, for one, am sick and tired of that disgusting 4 letter word being used so freely in the media. Most likely Bristol doesn't know the true meaning of that word. And why the continued fascination with this young woman? I'd sure love to see some teens on the cover of People who have achieved something more noteworthy than Bristol.

An unwed mother on the cover of Newsweek! This is what Palin and the Christian right were supposed to be running against. And I guess that tomorrow, Palin is going to be complaining that the liberal media refuses to give her family any privacy. Hypocrisy is a big word, but she should look it up.

I'd say People has dropped their standards, but I don't think they ever really had any. So, all you have to do to be a celeb is engage in massive hypocrisy, lovely.

What a beautiful baby. I'm sure she's going to make a fine mom.

"If girls realized the consequences of sex, nobody would be having sex." Umm. Actually lots of teens realize the consequences of sex, and that's why they use contraception. The real problem is the lack of fact-based sex-ed in this country. The consequences of sex don't end when you turn 18, but unfortunately, the education is needed much sooner.

Can we say CLUELESS and HYPOCRITICAL? The Palin's and their "conservative" supporters are clueless hypocrites.
