The president and first lady will chair the ninth National Book Festival this fall; founder Laura Bush said yesterday she's "really happy" and "not surprised" they'll continue the tradition. Unclear if the Obamas will actually attend the Sept. 26 event, which draws authors, poets, illustrators and thousands of book lovers to the Mall.
