Owen Wilson touring Monticello yesterday afternoon, solo except for the tour guide and security guy. Baby-blue oxford, khakis. In the garden, he recognized and introduced himself to super-chef Alice Waters, also touring. Small world. The actor's hunkered down in D.C. for a while filming that new Reese Witherspoon movie.
Dick Cheney leaving Johnny's Half Shell on Capitol Hill Tuesday night, using a cane. We're told it's a back injury, from moving a box of books before the inauguration, that gives him trouble now and again.
Eric Holder and his wife, Sharon Malone, dining at Clyde's of Georgetown Tuesday -- salmon and lobster for the AG and his wife, bacon cheeseburgers for the security detail that trailed them.
