Hey, Isn't That. . .?

Jack Nicholson at Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs this month. (Chris Carlson/AP)
  • Jack Nicholson digging into a steak at the Palm on Saturday night, sending the downtown restaurant into a frenzy. Drank Diet Coke. Meanwhile, Reese Witherspoon, his co-star in the movie shoot now taking over D.C., dined with Jake Gyllenhaal at Komi. She wore a blue dress, white cardigan; he came over to her side of the table after dessert to cuddle.

Judah Friedlander (Nicole Rivelli/NBC)
  • Judah Friedlander playing ping-pong and sipping cranberry juice at Comet Ping Pong on Saturday night; wore one of his trademark trucker caps -- but a blank one! The "30 Rock" character, in town to do standup at the Improv, came to the pizza place with his brother, who's a local.

  • Mya lunching on wings and salad at Third Edition in Georgetown on Saturday. White blouse, jeans, heels; flawless makeup, hair.
  • Ben Bernanke, in a red Nats cap, spooning into some between-innings ice cream at Friday's game.

Reese and Jake were at the 1:50pm showing of Hangover at G'town movie theatre yesterday, Sunday June 21st. They were both in Nats baseball caps and went unrecognized. They stayed past the credits to avoid the rush exiting the theatre. They looked adorable!

I was also in attendance for the 1:50PM showing of The Hangover in Georgetown. Reese and Jake were noticed by a few, but moviegoers were kind enough to leave them alone. They looked like any other happy couple and very much down-to-earth! Nice to have them in town.
