Engaged: White House mouthpieces Katie McCormick Lelyveld and Tommy Vietor, during the president's Paris visit this weekend. Lelyveld, 30, the spokeswoman for Michelle Obama, accompanied the first family to the City of Lights; Vietor, 28, an assistant press secretary in Robert Gibbs's office, decided to fly there and surprise her this morning. Colleagues conspired to lure her to the U.S. embassy, where she found him, and he proposed. ABC News reports the two met when she interviewed him for a job with the 2004 John Kerry campaign; instead, he went to work for Barack Obama's first Senate race.
