This Just In . . .

  • President Obama got his first real taste of Washington traffic yesterday when he got stuck going to his golf date at Fort Belvoir. The motorcade hit a bottleneck at the Springfield Interchange and was jammed for 15 minutes; finally cut across traffic to leave the highway.

  • Hundreds of celebrities -- including Jane Seymour, Tom Selleck, Daryl Hannah and Edward James Olmos -- attended the private two-hour funeral for David Carradine on Saturday in L.A. His family kept out of sight; a private pathologist has ruled out suicide as the cause of death in Bangkok.

  • The real Blago starred in Saturday's performance of "Rod Blagojevich Superstar" in Chicago. The crowd cheered as the ex-guv took the stage in the sold-out parody. "Where were you when I was impeached?" he quipped.

I'm glad our president has time for the 3 to 4 hours it takes to play golf, cause I know I don't!
