  • Stephanie Tubbs Jones was posthumously honored Tuesday by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, which named its new headquarters on Embassy Row after the Ohio congresswoman. Tubbs, a longtime board member, died last August.

  • John McCain and the GOP apologized Tuesday to Jackson Browne for using his "Running on Empty" to mock Barack Obama during the 2008 campaign. Jackson sued for copyright infringement and will receive an undisclosed settlement; the GOP has pledged to get musicians' permission in the future.

  • Emma Watson, better known as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, is headed to Brown University this fall. The British actress, 19, told Paste magazine that she plans to study literature. "I do hope that it will be only a short time before I am known as 'Emma Watson, the student from the U.K.' rather than 'Emma Watson, who starred in those Harry Potter films.' "

    I just heard on the radio that Emma Watson died. I also found this link that talks about it. RIP
