Engaged: Rep. Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin. The New York congressman, 44, proposed to Abedin, 33, the glamorous aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, AP reports. The two carried on a hush-hush romance that went public about a year ago; Weiner popped the question over Memorial Day weekend. First marriage for both, no date set for the wedding.

The couple looked cozy enough when they came to Tiger Wood's golf tourney earlier this month, but the Dallas Cowboys quarterback broke up with the singer on the eve of her birthday last week, reports People. Simpson had planned a Barbie-and- Ken-themed birthday party, but it fell through, according her Twitter page Saturday. "Barbie party didn't happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER!" Can't imagine why he wanted to miss that.
