A custody battle for Michael Jackson's children appears to have been avoided, the Associated Press reports: Attorneys announced Thursday the late singer's 79-year-old mother, Katherine, will raise the three kids, after reaching an agreement with Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe. Rowe, the mother of the two oldest children, will now have visitation rights after years of absence from their lives. No money changed hands in the crafting of the agreement, attorneys said.
