This Just In . . .

Steven Tyler at a news conference last week in Deadwood, S.D. (AP/Steve McEnroe)

  • Aerosmith fans are out of luck: The band's tour is on hold while lead singer Steven Tyler recovers from a broken shoulder. Tyler, 61, fell off the stage while dancing during a performance in South Dakota on Wednesday, hitting his head, neck and back. Organizers said Tyler is doing well but will require time to heal; band mate Joe Perry told a radio station the tour will be delayed for at least four weeks.

  • More questionable behavior from aging singers: Bob Dylan is planning to release an album of Christmas songs, including "Here Comes Santa Claus," "O Little Town of Bethlehem" and "I'll Be Home for Christmas." (What? No "Jingle Bell Rock?") The album was Dylan's idea; Isis magazine reports the songs were recorded in Jackson Browne's studio in May.
