This Just In . . .

Ann Hand is pointing her popular pins away from Georgetown. (Tammy Haddad)

Ann Hand -- creator of those patriotic pins favored by power players -- is downsizing. The Washington jewelry designer will close her Georgetown shop on Sept. 1 and move the entire operation to her original store on MacArthur Boulevard NW. "We're moving it all back under one roof," Hand told us on Thursday. Her lease for the M Street store is up in December; Hand decided to make the move while most of official Washington is out of town.

Can you say Scary? Is this the NY cat woman or some reject from "Addicted to Beauty"? I say close the whole thing down, enough of this dreadful schlock! The only good thing to say about the MacArthur Blvd. store is that it scares people away from Black Salt which makes it easier to get reservations.

Where's Bo Derek going to shop? I can't count how many times she's been seen in the M street location.

If you go to her web site you can see a tightly smiling profile of herself watching a video of herself. She can coble-toether cliche jewelry while she hold her yorkie! That's talent.
