The Emmys! Last night's award show -- read all about it here, peruse red carpet photos here -- was full of old standbys: "30 Rock" reigns supreme as best comedy, while "Mad Men" is still the best drama. There were some surprises, though -- namely, Jon Cryer winning best comedy actor. Fellow nominee Rainn Wilson wrote about it on his Twitter page: "I don't know what stings worse, losing the Emmy to Jon Cryer or losing both fantasy football games. Emmy, probably." Better luck next year!
Elsewhere in today's Style section: Hank Stuever says "Brick City" is worth your time. Ruth McCann profiles an Ethiopian expat filmmaker. And Carolyn Hax addresses the thorny question of how much relationship history is appropriate to share with a significant other.
