First Couple's Anniversary Night Out at Blue Duck Tavern

Barack and Michelle Obama dined out Saturday night -- their 17th wedding anniversary -- at Blue Duck Tavern in D.C.'s West End. No word yet on what they ate -- if you're curious, we will update when we learn. Blue Duck, which opened in the Park Hyatt Hotel in 2006, is a magnet for VIPs and foodies alike. Like many of the Obamas' dining choices, it preaches the gospel of organic-and-local with a menu that touts exactly which farm in Virginia or Pennsylvania, for example, produced its meats and vegetables.
UPDATED, 4:55 p.m.: No details on what the Obamas had; Blue Duck informs us they "respect the privacy of our customers." Well, that's no fun!
