Filmmaker Gives Too Much Credit

Was Michael Moore telling tales out of school the other night? At Tuesday's screening of his new "Capitalism: A Love Story" at the Uptown, the guerrilla filmmaker praised the office of Rep. Elijah Cummings, "where we get a lot of our help when we try to sneak into and out of the Capitol building."
Sooooo, interesting story there? Is that in the next movie? A spokesman for the Maryland Democrat said the provocateur was just being, well, provocative. When Moore was setting up an interview with the congressman, "one of our staff assistants helped Mr. Moore and his crew find some public entrances to buildings that were not as heavily trafficked by tourists, etc., so he could shoot without too many problems." Oh, okay.
