Great haircut! Michelle Rhee talks with Jeb Bush at Friday's education summit at the Capital Hilton. (Benjamin J. Myers)
There's much more important Michelle Rhee news these days, like, say, her controversial firing of nearly 400 school employees. You can read about that in other sections. We just want to point out that she has a sharp new haircut -- seen here, at a conference hosted Friday by Jeb Bush's Foundation for Excellence in Education. That's all.

The Post is as its best when it sticks to news that matters.
This blurb about Michelle Rhee's haircut smacks of sexism and detracts from the real story: her efforts to reform DC schools.
Maybe next week the Post will comment on Rhee's smile.
Keep the petty stuff for the Enquirer.

This is not a top news item. If a man changed his hairstyle, would you report on it?

This is Reliable Source, people, not the front page or even the metro section. Readers look at this section precisely to find out about non-hard-news items, including haircuts. Get over yourselves.

This is labeled as a top news item. But it's not. Someone's haircut is not important enough to be labeled a top news item.

It doesn't change anything. She doesn't look any better, just a witch makeover. It's October.

So now she's a creep with a good haircut.

don't like it, can't stand her ... this love affair that the Wapo has with this incompetent fool is really pathethic.
