Surreal estate

The former Woodley Park home of Tony and Heather Podesta. (Courtesy of Tessa Morris)

$1.9 mil.
Seller: Tony and Heather Podesta

Details: Busy weekend for the high-profile lobbyists/art collectors -- their Woodley Park home (six bedrooms, four baths, plenty of parking) went under contract just as they moved into the $3.9 million home in Kalorama they bought three years ago. The old place was famed for the spectacular art and Democratic fundraisers; their new spread has more space for their collection, including "Soliloquy VII" -- an eight-foot-tall color photo of a nude man lying on his back -- by British artist Sam Taylor-Wood.

Oh great, just what Kalorama needs, more parvenu arrivistes! These two con artists are truly dreadful and each day become more and more the poster children of DC corruption....ooh, my mistake, probably not a good thing to do to use the word children anywhere near these two.
