Roman Polanski has been moved from prison to a Zurich medical center for an undisclosed condition, Reuters reports. "I don't know where he is or when he will be returned to prison," said Polanski's attorney, who told reporters last week that the director was depressed and in an "unsettled state of mind" behind bars.
Think having Madonna as a neighbor would be cool? Think again. An upstairs neighbor in her Central Park building claims the pop star rehearses in the apartment with "blaring music, stomping and shaking walls" for hours every day, according to a lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court against the building's co-op board. The board says it has already threatened to evict Madonna; her reps aren't talking.
Dan Glickman is stepping down as head of the Motion Picture Association of America, reports Politico. But the former congressman isn't leaving until September 2010 -- plenty of time to wangle an invite for a free screening.
