Andrew Lloyd Webber has received a diagnosis of prostate cancer, his spokeswoman said Sunday. The disease is in the early stages; the 61-year-old composer is undergoing treatment and expected back at work before the end of the year -- just in time for his sequel to "Phantom of the Opera," scheduled to open in London in March.
Criminal charges against Kanye West were dismissed by a Los Angeles court commissioner Friday. The outspoken rapper and his manager were charged with battery and theft last year after scuffling with paparazzi at L.A. airport. West's attorney said he's already attended anger management classes and paid for the broken camera; the court agreed to drop the charges if West completes 50 hours of community service with the American Red Cross.
