Hey, isn't that...?: Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Paula Deen, Mandy Moore

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw at the National Italian American Foundation dinner in D.C. in 2004. (Susan Biddle/The Washington Post)

  • Faith Hill and Tim McGraw chitchatting with Paula Deen in the lobby of the Georgetown Ritz-Carlton on Friday afternoon, proving once and for all that, yes, all famous people do know each other. The country music stars (she in houndstooth suit, heels, curly hair; he in a newsboy cap) were here to co-host the Partnership for Military Medicine Symposium; the celebrity cook (jeans, black hat) was here for a culinary convention.

  • Mandy Moore dining at Urbana in Dupont Circle Saturday -- sweater, boots over jeans. Dined early, since she was up in the early a.m. Sunday for the half-marathon sponsored by the Gynecological Cancer Foundation (though she just did the one-mile-walk part).

  • Ricardo Antonio Chavira watching sports over a drink at J.Paul's Saturday afternoon. Oh, you totally know who he is -- Eva Longoria's husband on "Desperate Housewives." Was doing the honors at another cancer event in town: launching a new group, the Cancer Support Community.
