Fred Schneider of the B-52s cackling his way through the funny bits of "Hope Operas," a collection of mini-plays benefiting charities, staged Monday night at Miss Pixie's secondhand furniture shop on 14th Street NW. Vintage shirt, jeans. Turns out he's in town to shoot a video with his side project, the Superions.

Stevie Wonder picking up pizza and dried mango at the Clarendon Whole Foods on Tuesday around noon. Posed for photos with the staff. Sure is brand-loyal: Was also spotted last month at the P Street Whole Foods. He's performing in town Thursday at a fundraiser for the MAYA Foundation, benefiting college scholarships for local kids with learning disabilities.
