Hey, isn't that: Fred Schneider, Stevie Wonder

Hey, isn't that...

  • Fred Schneider of the B-52s cackling his way through the funny bits of "Hope Operas," a collection of mini-plays benefiting charities, staged Monday night at Miss Pixie's secondhand furniture shop on 14th Street NW. Vintage shirt, jeans. Turns out he's in town to shoot a video with his side project, the Superions.

  • Stevie Wonder picking up pizza and dried mango at the Clarendon Whole Foods on Tuesday around noon. Posed for photos with the staff. Sure is brand-loyal: Was also spotted last month at the P Street Whole Foods. He's performing in town Thursday at a fundraiser for the MAYA Foundation, benefiting college scholarships for local kids with learning disabilities.
