Quoted: Carrie Prejean on that sex-tape business

Carrie Prejean as Miss California USA (AP)

"I think now they call it 'sexting.'"

-- Ex-Miss California USA Carrie Prejean explaining on "Today" how a newly emerged sex tape (which reportedly prompted her to drop her lawsuit against pageant officials) isn't really a sex tape: "There was no one else with me. I was not having sex. ...I sent it to a boyfriend. It was for private use." She's flacking a new book about her wild year with Donald Trump, Perez Hilton and the anti-gay-marriage movement.

I saw that interview that she did this morning, and it was disgraceful. She is STILL whining about being "attacked" and "persecuted", when she wouldn't know the truth if it bit her on the nose. She is flamingly anti-gay, and needs to grow UP and get a REAL job, preferably one that she asks "Do you want fries with that", as that's all she is qualified to do.

We all did things at 17 we would not really want to see published on the front page of the Post today. That said, if/when we enter public life, we have to expect that anyone we ever knew will flog whatever "memorabilia" they may have save documenting our acquaintance - no matter how fleeting or how "deep". She's done the best thing by just owning it - let the chips fall where they may. There is plenty to do in life that doesn't involve being a beauty queen. Somebody out there will probably see Ms. Prejean's "assets" as just that - an asset; and she may do better out of the whole thing than if she had gotten to keep the beauty pagent title!

Amen jqw3827. Not everyone can have Carrie's talents and beauty, and there will always be haters who are truly envious of her.

Now there's a good Christian witness. Even this group has something to say about what she's done: http://www.heterodoxy.com/societyofchristians/blog.html#091109a

I saw that interview. I believe the quote you have was Viera's, not Carrie's. But that wouldnt fit the bash her agenda, would it?

Let me make sure I have this right. Married 50 year old president gets blowjob in Oval Office by subordinate, then lies to the entire world about it, = acceptable. Single teenager videotapes herself jerking off, then takes responsibility for her actions= unacceptable.

Sorry brian26, Carrie Prejean is a pornographer and she made and distributed child pornography. She did not take responsibility for her child porn, that she produced and distributed, until she was forced to admit to having made and distributed this child pornography during legal discussions about her dismissal from Trump's pageant organization. Only when she was shown this tape that she made of child pornography by the people who she was suing for firing her did she "take responsibility". And yes child pornography is not only unacceptable, but it is illegal as well. rambleon and jqw, where is the talent and beauty that you claim she possesses in the child pornography that she produced? Of course all of this is taking this woman at her word that she made child pornography when she was only 17. She could be lying about when she produced this child pornography, she lied about the topless photo's being from that same time period, until she was proven to be lying about that. So maybe she is lying that she was underage when she shot this pornography as well. Either way, she doesn't look so moral and righteous now does she?

I could care less if she was a minor or not when she made the video. Is your point minors who take X rated pics of themselves are therefore pornographers and should be prosecuted? Good luck with that.
Im pretty sure she isnt the one distributing the video. She gave it to a boyfriend. The rest of your statement is pure speculation on your end- can you back up your statements with any links substantiating your claims?
The liberals just quake in their UGGs when a conservative woman isnt intimidated by them.
Im also willing to bet a lot of her detractors are fugly.

It's okay for her to make amateur porn and presumably have sex as a teenager, but it's wrong for adult gay men and women to have permanent legally sanctioned and solemnized relationships. She really, really is a wackjob.
