-- Simon van Kempen, the hotelier husband of one of "The Real Housewives of New York City," refuting the notion that the reality stars are well paid. ("We are fairly dispensable.") He was guest speaker Wednesday at a "Q&A Cafe" hosted by Carol Joynt at the Georgetown Ritz-Carlton.

He's just a hotel manager. His wife lost her job at Victorias Secret. Her salary was just to pay for their lavish vacations so that they can be, 'celebrities.'
