UPDATE: Guess who met POTUS? Yes, the Salahis.

President Barack Obama shakes hands with Michaele Salahi, as her husband and Tareq looks on at right, at the State Dinner in the State Dining Room of the White House Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in in the background at left. (Official White House Photo by Samantha Appleton)
In case you were still wondering: Not only did the Salahis make it into the White House for all of those amazing photos with Joe Biden, Rahm ("Ron") Emanuel, Katie Couric, etc.... they did indeed make it into the receiving line, where they were introduced to President Obama. Keep coming back here, or to washingtonpost.com, for the latest on this developing story.
Also, all new, posted Friday night: "Days of wine and poses: Vintners Michaele & Tareq Salahi drink deeply from life, but not all is so sparkling."

WaPo needs to stop showing photos of them. They are getting the free publicity they want. WaPo should have done the real story on them in the beginning - everyone knows they are social climbers; deadbeats and liars (no charity and polo team story fishy).

What a mess.
She's very good, isn't she?
The pro schmoozer big-smile flirt-eye & double-grip handshake are in full-on locked-in mode.
I imagine Secret Service might have to threaten to charge & make a deal with them before they'll talk. That is talkin' truth (or its approximation) to the law, not just the cameras.
