- Court-ordered: Frances Bean Cobain, 17, has been placed in a temporary guardianship, the Associated Press reports. An L.A. judge granted control over the only daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain to her paternal grandmother and aunt. Court records didn't mention Love nor explain why the guardianship was granted.
- Born: A son, Mason Dash Disick, to Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick in L.A. Monday, People reports. She's the star of that reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" -- not the one dating the NFL star, and not the one who just married the Lakers star, but the other one -- and he's, well, her boyfriend. If you watch, you probably know.
