Love, etc.: Meredith Baxter says she's a lesbian

Switched teams: Meredith Baxter, 62, who announced Wednesday on "Today" that she's a lesbian. "It was a later-in-life recognition of that fact," said the thrice-married actress, best known as the mom on "Family Ties." Said she figured this out seven years ago; has been with the same girlfriend, a general contractor, for four. Baxter has five children.
