Swiss authorities moved Roman Polanski from a Zurich jail to an undisclosed location Thursday, one day ahead of his expected move to his Gstaad chalet for house arrest. Officials told the Associated Press that the move was for "security reasons and personal protection" and that he's still expected to begin home detention while awaiting extradition to United States on statutory rape charges.
Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood was released on bail Thursday after being arrested at his southern England home on a possible domestic assault charge, AP reports. No word on who filed the complaint. The guitarist, 62, went through a messy divorce last month, after taking up with a young Russian woman.
