Hey, isn't that: Louise Slaughter's black eye, Michael Bay at Air and Space Museum

On Jan. 6, Rep. Louise Slaughter listens as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi addressed reporters at the White House. (Reuters/Kevin Lamarque)

  • Rep. Louise Slaughter sporting one heck of a shiner at an Americans for the Arts meeting Wednesday. Would only say that "they don't call me Slaughter for nothing." (Also joked to The Hill that the black eye meant she was willing to fight for a health-care bill.) C'mon, what happened, really? A rep for the Upstate New York Dem said she bumped her head coming home in the dark. Better now.

  • Director Michael Bay snapping photos Thursday around the Air and Space Museum. Fleece, faded jeans, Nikes. The explosions-and-mayhem specialist ("Transformers") also surfaced at Sei on Wednesday night for haute sushi with a large group.
