Read this: We're back!

Happy New Year, everyone! Hope you didn't miss us too much. We're sure you resolved to read more newspaper articles in 2010 (which really would be the charitable thing to do), so here are some good ways to get started:

  • In today's Names & Faces: Elton John has been helping Eminem out of a drug addiction. Warren Beatty isn't thrilled that a new biography claims he's had flings with over 12,000 women. And Brit Hume thinks Tiger Woods ought to convert to Christianity.

    Love nightclub (Stanton Communications)

  • Love, Washington's largest nightclub, was closed temporarily by police on New Year's Day after a non-fatal stabbing -- that venue's third violent incident in a week.

  • The widow of fabled New York Times political correspondent/food anthropologist R.W. Apple Jr. is set to auction off his wine collection, an endeavor fraught with emotion and significance.

  • Annie Gowen profiles 24-year-old Elliott Bisnow, who went from live-at-home college dropout to wildly successful entrepreneur in just two years.

Huzzah! A day earlier than I expected, too! The gift-giving season must still be going on!

Yeah Tiger should convert to Christianity and join the C Street Family (Gov. Sanford; Ensign; etc.) where birds of a feather, etc.
