This just in: Andrew Young talks about alleged John Edwards sex tape in ABC News interview

John Edwards (Spencer Platt/Getty Images)

Monday it was a rumor. Then it was an excerpt floating around the Web. Now the most titillating claim from former John Edwards aide Andrew Young takes shape in both his new book and a new interview: that he found a sex tape (!) of the former presidential candidate with a woman who appears to be Rielle Hunter. "It's definitely him," Young said in a "20/20" interview to air Friday night on ABC (his book, "The Politician," will be released Saturday). "I can't speak for the other body parts, but it's definitely his face." If true, it would mean ... Edwards had sex with Hunter! Hello? Didn't we know that already? Love child, remember? It does not appear that ABC -- or anyone -- will be showing said tape.

Can you just imagine if that disgusting piece of trash had been elected President? Talk about dodging a bullet!

Yuck. Shouldn't this article have a warning that it contains disturbing content?

Gee, I just don't know where such a tape might perhaps appear and be publicly available. (cough*cough**cough*cough)

After seeing that photo of him in your article, I don't WANT TO SEE any sex tape. Ugh. Boy, that guy sure knows how to pick women, hey. What a loser.

Be very, very careful of your aide, they could be sleazier than you. Ooh, the horror!

I'd be more inclined to believe Andrew Young. John Edwards has already proven he's a sleazy, slimy, trashy, immoral liar.

There are no heroes in this scandal. Nearly everyone was motivated by greed and power, including Elizabeth Edwards. (Poor deluded Bunny seems to be the only who had even a hint of altruism). But to me, the biggest sleazes are Andrew Young and his wife. Clearly Fred Baron (who employed his money and accouterments to hide Rielle Hunter from the public) wasn't motivated by a desire to aid "mill workers", but at least he didn't live to cash in with a tell-all book and go on 20/20 claiming to be motivated by his desire to 'help America' get a leader who will serve the interests of the common man.
To me, worse than cheating on his wife, is the fact that John Edwards was attracted to a crazy new-age astrologer. I thought a preference for superstition and juju-ism over intellectual inquiry went out with the Reagans. When will American grow up intellectually and morally?
