This just in: Laura Bush joins museum board, Gary Coleman gets arrested

Gary Coleman: saddest celebrity mug shot of the month. The former child star, now 41, was arrested in Santaquin, Utah, Sunday after police went to his home on a domestic-disturbance call. Officials, however, told the Associated Press that the arrest stemmed from his failure to appear in court on a separate domestic-violence warrant from August.

The Smithsonian announced Monday that Laura Bush will join the board of the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Other new appointees: Ruth Simmons, president of Brown, and Target CEO Gregg Steinhafel. Their five-year terms mean they'll still be around when it opens in 2015.
