  • Rue McClanahan, 75, is recovering from a minor stroke, her rep told E! Online. Doctors removed a blood clot from the brain of the former star of "Golden Girls" while she was recovering from heart bypass surgery in November; speech and movement on her right side were affected. She's in physical therapy and should be out of the hospital by the end of the month.

  • Michael C. Hall, 38, has cancer, but his course of treatment is almost over and the disease is in remission, the "Dexter" actor announced Wednesday. In a statement to People magazine, Hall said he has Hodgkin's lymphoma; his Showtime series will continue as planned.
