Tim Kaine attends official portrait unveiling

Having just a few days left in office, Gov. Tim Kaine gathered his wife, kids, friends and top administration officials on Tuesday for the unveiling of his official portrait by Prince William artist Stephen Craighead. But as Virginia gubernatorial paintings go, it's a bit unusual, reports our colleague Rosalind Helderman.

Kaine's wayward left eyebrow appears to be under control, but he is depicted standing on the banks of the James River -- right hand on hip, left on a tree and no suit jacket. That makes him the only jacketless, smiling, outdoors governor featured in the gallery of portraits outside the ceremonial governor's office in the rotunda of Virginia's State Capitol.
