Hey, isn't that...?: Vincent Gray, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Taylor Hicks
Interesting conversation: Virginia Williams, Vincent Gray, Judith Terra.
D.C. Council Chairman and maybe-mayoral candidate Vincent Gray dining Saturday at Georgetown's Il Canale with an influential pair of ladies: civic activist Judith Terra and former mayor Tony Williams's mom, Virginia. Terra, of course, was an early Adrian Fenty booster last time around, while Mrs. Williams was an ardent Linda Cropp campaigner -- so the three of them must have had something to talk about during their three-hour meal.
Arnold Schwarzenegger holding court over drinks at the Four Seasons on Sunday afternoon -- and seeming not to recognize Taylor Hicks, who wandered over to shake the governor's hand. (Arnold, you don't watch "Idol"?) Hicks was appearing in "Grease," which ended its run Sunday at the National Theatre; Schwarzenegger, here for the Governors Ball, breakfasted earlier at Martin's Tavern with Maria Shriver and two of their kids, wearing a watch the size of a bread plate.
