Update: Marijuana Policy Project cancels annual Playboy Mansion fundraiser

The Marijuana Policy Project has another casualty of its sex scandal: First, executive director Rob Kampia was forced to take a three-month leave of absence for sleeping with an employee; now the group's annual fundraiser at the Playboy Mansion has been canceled. City Paper reports that MPP pulled the plug because it doesn't have donations for upfront expenses (Kampia is the fundraising guru) and because a party with half-naked Playmates might ... oh, send the wrong message. "The PR ramifications of holding the event right now are probably obvious," MPP's Alison Green wrote to the staff.

Sleeping wasn't what got Rob in trouble.
He actually fell asleep afterwards.
