- Tim Geithner and family hanging out at a corner table -- until 10:30 on a school night! -- at Flanagan's Harp & Fiddle in Bethesda, listening to the band One Lane Bridge.
- Bill Gates dining at Adour in the St. Regis on Wednesday with one of his Gates Foundation execs. Foie gras, rib-eye steak. The second-richest man in the world (just got passed by Mexican telecom tycoon Carlos Slim, says Forbes) was here asking the Senate to increase funding for global health. His wife, Melinda, meanwhile, picked up an honor at a gala thrown by women's-empowerment advocates Vital Voices.
