Quoted: Obama, show Indonesia you still care

"It's just like you miss a date with someone you care about, but you make it up by making phone calls, by sending things."

-- Indonesian political analyst Wimar Witoelar telling Voice of America what President Obama needs to do to reassure that nation he still cares. The president canceled this week's visit to his childhood home to lobby for health care, but promised to reschedule for June. In the meantime, maybe flowers?

One way President Obama can show that he cares about the Indonesian people is by not offering to train the Indonesian military's notorious special forces Kopassus.
