Gilbert Arenas arrives at the courthouse on Jan. 15. (Mark Gail/The Washington Post)

-- Gilbert Arenas explaining to Esquire about that moment of misguided inspiration ("my mind says Boo yow!") that prompted him to lay out four guns with a "PICK 1" sign for teammate Javaris Crittenton in that wacky locker room prank that led to his NBA season suspension and felony guilty plea. He also sheds light on the size of his arsenal: "About four to five hundred guns" he bought as a set from a longtime collector.
