Quoted: Italian paper overstates the power and influence of these embassy sauna parties

"For the powerful people who weave the fabric of American politics, it's the most exclusive and secluded meeting place in the federal capital."
-- Italian newspaper La Repubblica's lost-in-translation take on our colleague Jason Horowitz's March 18 story about the Finnish Embassy's regular sauna parties -- populated by, well, a lot of Hill staffers and journalists. But hey, we'll take that as a compliment! The Italian story also implied that Joe Biden is a secret member -- the Finns would love to have him, but they haven't gotten him there yet.
