Eric Massa's official portrait.
Good afternoon, everyone. Turns out former Rep. Eric Massa's meltdown will be televised -- and it's already off to a rollicking start!
Things began with his resignation on Monday, after his alleged sexual harassment of staffers came to light. Thing got weirder on Tuesday, when Massa sat for an hour-long interview on Glenn Beck's show. Reports our colleague Dana Milbank:
"Now they're saying I groped a male staffer," [Massa] volunteered. "Yeah, I did. Not only did I grope him, I tickled him until he couldn't breathe and then four guys jumped on top of me. It was my 50th birthday."
Beck looked aghast. "Was your wife at that one?" the Fox News Channel host asked.
And it all goes downhill from there. Massa also recently claimed that White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel once confronted him in the House gym shower, naked, and berated him over his vote against President Barack Obama's budget. That got a lot of people wondering about how much official business goes on in the buff -- so our colleague Phil Rucker gets to the bottom of it. (Answer: Not much. Or so everyone claims.)
