This Just In: "Game Change" authors sign seven-figure sequel deal for 2012 book
Will 2012 be as crazy-awesome-newsy as 2008? Penguin Press is betting that it will be: It's signed the journalists behind best-selling campaign tell-all "Game Change" to a sequel deal that sources tell Crain's Business Journal is worth more than $5 million. Full of gossippy stuff about John Edwards, Sarah Palin , what-Harry-Reid-said-about-Obama, and the rest of the field, "Game Change" has been on the bestseller lists since it was published by HarperCollins in January. Authors John Heilemann and Mark Halperin are now lined up by the division of Penguin Group (USA) to do the same treatment for the next presidential race.
