Hey, check out Sonia Sotomayor's ex-husband Kevin Noonan on "60 Minutes." (VIDEO)

No scandal here, just thought you'd be interested in seeing him. He's not talking about Sonia Sotomayor, though. Kevin Noonan, the Supreme Court justice's high school sweetheart, who was married to her from 1976 to 1983, is a Chicago molecular biologist and patent lawyer, talking here about the debate over whether biotech companies should be allowed to patent genes. He tells Morley Safer that patents lead to scientific breakthroughs: "How many years did people try to find these gene and not succeed? That costs money, that costs investment." Seems like a nice enough guy. So anyway, there you go. The show airs on CBS at 7 p.m. Sunday.

This concept just shows how decadent uncivilization is. If there were even the slightest interest in the world of humanity there would be no patents for all of these discoveries and (inventions?). There may have been a time when a man or woman became a biologist, Doctor or any other profession just because he or she were interested or obcessed with a special profession. Today its only because of the money's leading to wealth and power. Politicians were originally thought to be interested in serving the people but as it turns out they are owned body and soul by corporate America and they serve corporate America. Public Service is a farce, it is arrogant. Public Servants are corporate servants and have made slaves and criminals of the majority of the public at large. How can we correct this when they have no intentions of changing to a more humane attitude??? While the constitution gives the people the right to fire and reestablish a constitutional America, the present are so imbedded that they will never return to the status of public servitude. Alas all is lost. Justice cannot prevail because justice is administered by those same political powers.
