- Rosie Perez dining with friends at Bistro Bis on the Hill on Monday night. Business casual and largely incognito ... until she let loose one of those Rosie Perez laughs, and everyone looked.
- A-Rod digging into a late lunch/early dinner (linner? dunch?) with his lawyer at the Palm on Monday afternoon after the Yankees' visit to the White House. Looked like a god, to be honest: Big guy, gorgeous suit, gleaming World Series ring.

- Kal Penn watching Shakespeare Theatre's "Will on the Hill" Monday night. The actor-turned-White House staffer (due to return to show biz soon) was there to see his former "House" co-star Peter Jacobson, one of the pros recruited to bolster the congressional actors in the annual fundraiser.
- Erica Jong raising her hand at Kitty Kelley's "Oprah" book signing in Georgetown on Sunday night. "Erica, is that you?!?" shrieked Kelley. The literary-dirty-book pioneer of the '70s applauded Kelley for asking tough questions.
