Movie night at the White House -- if you like your flicks really serious. President Obama hosted a screening Tuesday of the documentary "Nuclear Tipping Point"; expected guests included narrator Michael Douglas, George Shultz, Henry Kissinger, Bill Perry, Sam Nunn and Colin Powell.

The story reflects a glittering list of guests. I urge you to include everyday people at your dinners, not just people you would like to meet or who donated to your campaign or the campaigns of your political allies. Inclusive and transparent, give the people what you promised.
