This just in: Polo in grave condition; Elizabeth Taylor not engaged

Reggie "Polo" Burwell, frontman of popular D.C. go-go band TCB, is in a coma and "fighting for his life" after suddenly falling ill during a Saturday-night show in Forestville, according to a band statement released Monday: "He has suffered a serious trauma and best-case scenario it'll be a very long road to any recovery."

Elizabeth Taylor is not getting married for the ninth time -- despite an Us magazine report Friday that went viral and was even cited by Brian Williams on "NBC Nightly News." Dame Elizabeth, at 78, straightened things out for herself Monday on Twitter, posting that her 49-year-old manager Jason Winters is simply her "dearest friend," not fiance.
