Sean Penn disembarking from a Miami-to-Reagan National flight (first-class) Monday evening. Black suit, white shirt, black shoes, no tie. Carried a bulging manila folder, stayed busy on a cell at baggage claim. The Oscar winner is skipping the Cannes premiere of his movie "Fair Game" to testify Thursday before the Senate about his relief work in Haiti.

Rick Bayless and two colleagues snapping photos of each of their courses -- appetizer, pasta, entree, dessert -- Monday at Bibiana downtown. The celeb chef brought his team from Chicago for his guest-cooking gig at Wednesday's White House state dinner for Mexico.
