  • Reconciling: Larry and Shawn King, who filed for divorce last month. They've decided to give marriage (his eighth) another try: "We love our children, we love each other, we love being a family. That is all that matters to us. We owe it to ourselves and our children to continue being dedicated to each other," they said in a statement Tuesday.

  • Engaged: Country music sweethearts Miranda Lambert, 26, and Blake Shelton, 33, after five years of dating. It will be his second marriage, her first. She's the "Nashville Star" finalist who hit it big with "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend"; he has had six No. 1s on the country charts. He proposed in the woods outside her home in Tishomingo, Okla., she told People, and they toasted with Bacardi and Diet Sprites.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry King epitomize modern romance. Ever since $hawn offered herself intact to Larry on their marital bed this has been the stuff of fairy tales. This should finally silence all those cynics who thought this was just the crassest of publicity stunts.

$hawn will be working to make sure that her children feel safe and secure in their family. She has even vowed to Larry to make a commitment to remember his and the children's names so she can always be paged if he needs a cue. The pool boy, the gardeners, that waiter, that parking valet, the dude in from Vegas, the neighbor's husband and sons, etc., can all stand back, to $hawn family somes first!

I just hope $hawn doesn't abandon her music career. It is too bad she had to interrupt her meteoric rise to the top of the charts when she sacrificed her career for this arrangement with King. She is brilliant! She is like a cross between Josh Groban vocally and Taylor Swift in looks and style. You just wait $Shawn! The Vegas lounge will make a comeback!
